Engagement on Twitter is one of the best ways to get your brand noticed!
Why is that? Because there’s nobody else really on Twitter using it. Now this may seem counterintuitive and you might be wondering why you’re even bothering to put your business there, but it can actually work quite well.
When trying to reach other businesses in your local town you can find that they are on Twitter but not getting much engagement on their posts. What’s cool is if you set up a good business profile fill it out well and have regular post on your profile, it pays do engagement on Twitter.
Especially for a B2B businesses when you’re trying to reach other businesses in your local town you can find that they are on Twitter but not getting much engagement on their posts. What you are going to do is go on Twitter every single day and find posts from local businesses and like and comment on them.
You’ll notice that there’s hardly anybody else on these posts, so liking their post will stand out to the business owner. This is like free advertising, where they will get to notice your business every single day and it will drive your name and your brand into their memory.
The next time they need your product or services, guess who they’re going to think of! Some people don’t think Twitter is worth the time because there’s hardly anybody there, but I think that’s exactly why it is worth a time, because you can really stand out.
Most of the other social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram are all very saturated. Not that I’m saying that you shouldn’t have a presence on those platforms, you most certainly should. But where you should be doing engagement is on Twitter and Instagram the most.
You should be going through your Twitter feed and liking as many local business posts as possible per day. Try to hit at least 20 or even 100 likes on posts per day.
Have a question about how this may pay off of your business? Definitely drop me a line down below. I’m curious to hear what you think!
